Arriving by CAR

If you come by car you can choose to park either in the two main Garages (Autorimessa Comunale or Garage San Marco) in Piazzale Roma or in the Garage in the Island called Tronchetto . From both terminals you can catch a private water taxi (15 mins) or the ACTV public waterbus (Vaporetto) line 1 or 82 direction Rialto - Vallaresso (San Marco) and get off at the stop Rialto going along the Grand Canal. We suggest you to take line 1 leaving from Piazzale Roma.

Useful Venetian street words' translations:
- CALLE / VIA / SALIZZADA / RIO TERA' mean STREET
- FONDAMENTA means STREET ALONG A CANAL
- CAMPO means SQUARE

From the stop of RIALTO (line 82)

• Just off the waterbus stop turn right and walk along the Grand Canal
• After 20 metres , cross the small bridge
• 10 metres ahead on you right there is the Waterbus stop of Line 1

From the stop of RIALTO (line 1)

• Just off the waterbus stop turn right and walk along the Grand Canal
• After 50 metres turn left into CALLE DEL CARBON
• 20 METRES AHEAD THERE IS THE HOTEL A LA COMMEDIA SIGNBOARD AND BUILDING
