Vogalonga

The Vogalonga is a non-competitive event begun in 1974 with the aim of raising public awareness about the problem of the waves caused by motorboats and at the same time having the objective of rediscovering the natural beauty of the lagoon. The route meanders over 32 kilometres and passes the most beautiful islands of the lagoon: the event starts and ends in Saint Mark’s Basin.
Enrolment is open to all types of boat and recently a large number of foreign crews have taken part.
