inema Galleggiante – Acque Sconosciute, an initiative included in the series of celebrations for the 1600th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Venice 1600 Venezia / 421-2021, is a project by Edoardo Aruta and Paolo Rosso presented by Microclima, in collaboration with Ocean Space - TBA2 –Academy, Pentagram Stiftung, Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana - Pinault Collection and with the In Between Art Film Foundation and Lamyland - Owenscorp. The event includes a series of projections, performances and interventions hosted on a floating platform located in the middle of the lagoon, in the shoal behind the Giudecca Island at the height of the Rio de Sant’Eufemia. Spectators can watch the programming both from their own boats and from a barge designed to accommodate the public without a boat and benefit from a unique gastronomic offer by TOCIA! cuisine and community, an interdisciplinary platform founded by chef Marco Bravetti who for the occasion involved, in dialogue with the themes of the evenings, chefs operating in the lagoon area to create an experiment in collective cuisine, popular and devoted to sustainability.
