William Klein returns to Venice with sixteen black and white photographs

The images, all in black and white, explore the themes of cities and fashion, conveying Klein's unmistakable vision of New York, Rome, Moscow, and Tokyo. Again - as the title suggests - his photography reveals a lively tension between avant-garde, chaos, and urban identity. Klein, who passed away in 2022, was previously presented by IKONA in 1981. With this new exhibition, the gallery - founded by Živa Kraus in 1979 and now located in Campo del Ghetto Nuovo - renews its commitment to presenting photography as a contemporary language.
