The greatest voice of modern-day jazz, accompanied on stage by the Fenice by Ira Coleman (bass), Louis Winsberg (guitar), Marc Berthoumieux (accordion) and Minino Garay (percussion), pays homage to France - her chosen land for 17 years - with J'ai Deux Amours, title of the Dee Dee Bridgewater album published in 2005 in tribute to Josephine Baker, offering a selection of songs related to the successes and life of the famous American naturalized French performer. The concert also celebrates other famous chansonniers of the time such as Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet, intertwining their artistic vicissitudes in a single dimension beyond time and continents, to that of a contemporary jazz legend, traveler, explorer, pioneer and guardian of the tradition, awarded with Tony Awards and three times with the Grammy Award.
