Between the two floors of the Galleria d’Arte Contini in Venice on Calle Larga XXII Marzo there is an unprecedented exhibition itinerary, featuring the art of Pablo Atchugarry, the well-known Uruguayan sculptor who has lived for years between Italy, the United States and Uruguay. The solo exhibition entitled The Time of Sculpture, dedicated to the artist's seventieth birthday, alongside the different and colorful sculptural works typical of Atchugarry, presents to the public for the first time the exclusive collection of autograph jewels designed specifically for the occasion, fragments of art made in gold that are transformed into micro sculptures to wear, bringing with them the essence of the poetics of an iconic sculptor. The artist will be present in the Gallery for a special event on Saturday 11 May at 6.30 pm.
